Wausau Lyric Choir

Auditions

New Members are subject to audition by the Music Director. Those auditioning are expected to accomplish melodic and rhythmic sight-reading and exercises in musical memory. Dates, times, locations, and choir contact person are publicized in advance of the auditions.

Audition Information for the 2010-2011 year:

All auditions are held in the Choir Room at the University of Wisconsin, Marathon County, in Wausau.

Guidelines for Membership

Membership in the Wausau Lyric Choir is open to all qualified area musicians. Members will be admitted upon successful completion of the audition process as determined by the Music Director. Members are accepted on the basis of section need, vocal ability, musicianship, commitment, attitude, and choral balance. All members will comply with the policies and procedures as detailed in the member handbook. The Wausau Lyric Choir is an equal opportunity organization.
